Fiberglass has nothing to do with acoustic suspension. All acoustic suspension speakers are closed boxes. The reverse is not true. Many closed boxes are not acoustic suspension. A good old example of closed box but not acoustic suspension is Bozak. I don't know if Magico and YG are acoustic suspension but they are among the few closed boxes today.
Thiel/Small analysis killed acoustic suspension. It allowed accurate ported designs. Porting is more efficient and more importantly it sounds bassier which is good for sales although the best ported design will never bea bass controlled as the best closed box.
