RE: Magnepan speakers

I used to own the same pair, MGIIIa a few years back. Fantastic speakers!

My understanding is they have a true ribbon tweeter.

I'd offer $300 since you can't listen to them and take a chance.

Make sure there's a long plastic insert on the back of the speakers along the tweeter ribbon, though. Without it the ribbon might have been jarred from moving around.
