I don't know the Harbeth but if the Stirling LS3/6 sounds like the original BBC LS3/6 built by Rogers in the 70s which is what is claimed then it is one of the most beautifully colored(I do mean this positively)monitor quality(it was designed for monitor use by the BBC) speakers I ever heard. It had a subtle, very slight warmth and glow that was almost magic. It was a close relative of the more famous Spendor BC1 both design wise and sound wise except for that slight warmth.
