RE: The "microphone"

I trust what I hear. I don't trust what I hear at a show unless it's excellent. If it's good the system has to be at least that good. If it's not good I don't know if it's the system, the set up, the electricity in the room and I certainly can't tell if it's a single component. I don't know if it's a mismatched system and I don't know what part(s) are causing the problem. It's why I hate Valin's show reports. I'm sure he can hear(although his taste - colorations - are probably not mine) but in a few minutes he can't tell what's going on and a bad comment can hurt a small company badly and it may not be their problem.
