A couple of years ago I heard a set of large Advents. I was pleasantly surprised expecting them to bo 'older' sounding. Mahes one wonder what one could do by modernizing a set, say modern crossover parts, dampening the cabinet sides and playing with diffraction control with pieces of felt strategically placed.
