Infinite baffle just means that the back wave of the driver is not used That means that acoustic suspension is also infinite baffle. It's the reverse that may not be true.
And you're correct. The closest thing to a true infinite baffle would be a woofer in a wall into a space that doesn't feed back into the main space. And, of course, the second room could use the woofer back wave as the bass driver of a second speaker as long as the upper drivers in the second room are properly phased with the back wave.
