I believe the dual binding posts are for bi-wiring the speakers if you choose. I have a pair of Mirage M-290 speakers with a similar arrangement of dual binding posts. The lower posts connect to the woofer section of the crossover and the upper posts connect to the tweeter section . If you do not bi-wire then you definitely need to connect jumpers black to black and red to red.
