Xover point should be at least an octave, better two octaves away from where response falls off, either high or low, no matter what the xover order.

This set-up doesn't even come close. I think CLEAN 1700hz from that tweeter is wishful thinking, and a 6.5" midrange starts beaming at around 2.7k, so all should not be well. I'm just wondering how the builder accomplishes "good sound" with mismatched drivers. There's gotta be a trick.

Plus the c-t-c distance is getting large for a high xover point.
