Speaker drivers require mechanical break in to function properly, and the xover caps will also open up a bit more. Zaph's designs are decent when he's not afraid to spend a few bucks, and these drivers are top quality. The soundstage and every other aspect will only get better as they break in. Also, moving the Maggies completely out of the way will allow a bit more breathing room.
