Great deal, I just sold a pair in September for $550.00. The woofers in this model have rubber surrounds, as I recall, so rot should not be a problem. Because of the unique design, the tweeters & mid-range drivers can fry if over driven. You will hear a pronounced crackling sound when auditioned if they are bad. If they checkout good and look good, put them on Craigslist and here with local pickup. If not, part out the good ones on eBay, there is a market for them and that was my plan "B".
