Ages ago I put fancy-schmancy caps on Spica TC-50 crossovers, moving the boards to the outside of the box, and later modded them for bi-wiring. The cap project made a small (imagined?) improvement, but bi-wiring yielded a big improvement in low-level detail. In the pic of the foil side, you can see the L-shaped break I made in the ground trace at the upper left for bi-wiring. At the time, John Bau said the bi-wiring mod made sense, saying "If I had known then what I know now about ground-plane interactions I would have done them differently." Some day I might learn what ground-plane interactions are.
BTW, if anyone wants these I'm happy to pass them along for the shipping cost - msg me.
Cheers,
WW
