RE: Loudspeaker tweaks.

I have b.ilt and modified a numb.r of different speakers. Dampen speaker frames with rope calk, paint inside cab.net with dampening paint, add felt around drivers on b.ffle, rewire with quality wire. Same with good quality caps, inductors, and resistors. Use dissimilar metal mounting screws on drivers. Typically b.ass screws. Try different amounts of stuffing and types of stuffing. Redesign the crossovers, match crossover parts, place speakers on spikes, or on ab.orb.nt footers.
