I used to have them in the store I managed in the early 70s. IRC, the tweeters were RTR, and in this application, were unreliable.

Most of us actually preferred a pair of original large Advents, as the ES-212s (when they worked) were boomy and bright at the same time. Mid-range was missing in action.

They may have improved over time, and I wouldn't have known it - I sent the demo pair back to Crown.
