RE: What to do with Bose 901 Series 1?

My wife and I still have a pair of Bose 901s, Series 1, we bought new in the autumn of 1972. They still play in our bedroom system powered by a McIntosh MC2105 power amp that we bought at the same time. In the last forty-one years I have owned other, better, much more expensive speakers such as Magnepans, Dynaudio towers, electrostatics and presently a pair of very nice, tri-amplified, DIY, fully horn loaded systems. Virtually all of the speakers I've owned since I bought the 901 Series 1's sound better in most ways or in recent years perhaps better in all ways. But when activities keep me or my wife and I in the bedroom awake for extended periods the old Bose Mcintosh combo sourced by an inexpensive but sweet CD player still rock and sing in an exciting and attention grabbing way. way I couldn't agree more with the respondent who first suggested that the Bose were fun speakers or those who have agreed with him.
I dream of an America where a chicken can cross the road without having it's motives questioned.
