just got a pair of ESS AMT-4s. these are the baby brothers to the AMT-1s. 2 way design with smaller heil units for highs and mids and non-original 10" conventional woofers for the bass. very solid and heavy cabinets.
well the sound is a mix. the highs, mids and imaging are excellent (from the heil units). but the bass is not well integrated and is relatively weak.
can anyone recommend 10" woofers that would work well in this application?
not having to mod the x-overs would be a major plus.
thanks!
