thanks and excellent observaiton. something went wrong with one of my very efficient klf-30s and my speaker repair guy is backed up for months of delay. so its time
for now i pulled the speakers from my 2nd system: infinity RSbs. i put away my SETs and plugged in a recapped small old kenwood integrated i picked up here on aatrader from friez14me. i am surprised by how good this combo sounds. it has made me curious to experiment with the RSb's bigger brothers. the imaging from the RSbs iny my room/system is excellent. as is the bass response from the 10" woofers.
i have purchased a will vincen modded ST-70 which should have in a few days.
the little kenwood seems to be able to drive the RSbs with no problems - making me wonder if it and the ST-70 might do nearly as well on the RS3s, RS4s and Kappa 7s i am looking at.
any more insights would be appreciated.
