RE: REL gain setting

IME, it's common to have an itch to get up and readjust the levels.

But once you do get it right (which of course includes placement and directional adjustments, as well as x-over frequency adjustments), it really should not happen anymore.

I'm speaking for music, not a system that also does HT. I'd probably have to mark a position for each if I were doing both.

I have B-1s. The level adjustment from click-to-click is perhaps too coarse when you are getting it finally dialed-in.

It's also important to remember that anytime you raise or lower the bass level, you are also shifting the crossover point slightly.
