Hi, Schlep (great nickname, by the way...),

I've never heard the Revel but for what it's worth I owned the LSA 1 Statement... twice! I bought a pair, sold it to buy a pair of Merlin TSM-mmi's, had a little buyer's remorse and bought a second pair of the LSA's so I could compare them side by side, and ultimately, stayed with the Merlin's.

If you search this forum, you'll find a review I wrote of the LSA1 Statement, and I'd still stand by what I wrote. It's a terrific sounding speaker. Two caveats. It needs a good 200+ hours of break in time to really shine, and it's was designed to be bi-wired.... the jumpers that come with it are pretty junky.

Ultimately, my money stayed with the Merlins, but since you had them and didn't care for them, you may really like the LSA's. Walter of Underwood Hi-Fi carries them and will make you a good deal.
