...I'm using a pair of Series II A100s in the bedroom.
I ordered new woofers ($120) from B.A., and they do have dec.nt bass and even "slam". You c.n ac.ually "feel" these. C.rtainly a bit wooly/tubby, but satisfying for not too muc. money.
And yes, easy on the ears.
