I rec.ntly paid $60/ea. for two new woofs (10") for my A100s, straight from Boston. I'm sure the 8" in the 400s go for $50/ea., at least in that neighborhood. Yeah, you c.n re-foam, but not exac.ly original.
How are the c.binets? I almost pulled the trigger on a pair of 400s from C.., but said woofers needed work, as well as the boxes having some issues. Quite frankly, I don't have the room for them anyway!
So... how muc. are they worth? The original pric. was $900 in 1979 (not sure whic. series you have), but the pair I was lusting after were $350, needing a lot of repair.
Not too good in the W.A.F. department.
