I have owned:
- Dyn 1.8s
- Dyn 52SEs
- Special 25s
In every case I have loved them for the first 2 weeks, but dumped them after 3-5 months due to:
- listener fatigue (with great electronics)
- they "bottom out" in the base all the time (with excellent elctronics)
- they are too $$ for what they deliver, compared to US speakers or British speakers
My $.02....however, YMMV.
