I saw these Alon Model 1's on A'gon for only $250. I have a pair on the front of my HT setup, but I used them for a few years on my 2 channel rig. These would be excellent to start a new system with. I replaced both Epos ES11 and Vandersteen 2CI's with these at the time. Great speakers, excellent bass, imaging, etc. I believe the original list price was $1590. I thought when I found my demo pair for $700, they were a bargin.
