With that said, the Audience Maestros are very nice for the money. I've been using them with my VSM-MM w/super BAM and I have to say I'm extremely happy with the sound. They are not as bad as you portray. I'm sure more money would yield better sound and I'd like to have Cardas GR, but for $200 used, they are a bargin. FYI, John at Audience has told me he feels they give 85% to 90% of what the AU24 do for half the money.
