How do you like the Channel Island amps on the Merlins? Are those stock amps (meaning no mods)? I've played a bit with a Teac digital amp on my VSM-MM and liked the sound.Best part of the Merlins for me is that newest mods makes it a great speaker to try different amps out on. I've gotten nice results with both tubes and solid state.
