I have owned both the RF-7 and RF-3 and powered them with a vareity of amplifiers including a 300b SET amp. Now I think the high sensitivity of the Klipschs can be misleading, the RF-7s are not a easy to drive speaker as they dip down to about 2-3ohms in the bass, this can cause problems for SET amps. While the RF-7s driven by a 8watt SET amp plyedquite loud, the bass was very flabby and uncontrolled, the RF-3's less so but still not what I would call tight bass by any stretch of the imagination. Another problem I found with the Klipsch RF series was that the woofers have a hard time keeping up with the horns which doesnt make them the most coherant of speakers. Now the positives, they will play loud and clear, dynamics are awesome, bass is quite powerful if not very deep and they dont need more than 10 watts to play loudly. Depending on the music you listen to you may or may not like them. If you listyen to Rap or Rock at loud volumes they are great and cant really be beat for the money, but for classical, jazz, vocal...etc I think you can do far better. Another thing to consider is that if you dont have a terribly large room or listen at rock concert levels, 24wpc is plenty of power to drive speakers or average senstivity to quite loud volumes. Thier are alot of speakers out there on the used market in the same price range of the Klipsch that you may want to check out. Meadowlark, Jm Labs, Triangle, Tannoy, Spendor, Soliloquy, Cabasse, Living Voice....etc
