Im looking to buy my first real hifi turntable, i got into vinyla few weeks ago when i was given an old table and a bunch of mint classic rock lps. I was so happy that Ive descided to get a decent table. Im on a pretty tight budget of around $500-700. Most people have reccomended the Rega p3 which is out of my price range since it doesnt include a cartridge, but i could buy a used one within my budget. As for a new table the two best ones seem to be the Pro-ject Xpression and Music hall MMF-5. My amp is an Exposure Xv integrated with a MM phono stage. So what would you guys say is the best way to go?? Ive read the Rega pretty much the best budget table around, how would the other two I mention stack up against it?? id really rather buy new but if the Rega is that much better and i can find a loca seller i may g for it.
Thanks
