speakers I have ever owned, I thought that the differences between the amps, if any would be easily heard in my system. I think I will begin the comparo with a the chosen review tunes played through my Cary V12R in the triode mode that I am used to hearing. These two digital amps are at the leading edge of affordable digital amps. I think the Cary SLP 98 pre with its NOS tubes will fill out the sound to some extent. I may be wrong, we will just have to try it.
