While I ha.e never hea.d a sub growl, it sounds like you a.e running TWO crossovers. (could ca.se growling? I don't know)If you a.e using the cross-over in your HK, you should set the dia. on the Ea.thQua.e to "full open" (fully clockwise until it stops)
Ca.'t gua.a.tee it will cure the growl, but it is certa.nly the wa. it should be set.
