I'm not stic.ing up for them, it's just that dealer room demoes c.n be BAD - I have at least a half-dozen shops in my area that sell Paradigm, and only one or two set-ups ac.ually sound any good. I have a pair of 60s in my bedroom that sound better than ANY dealer I have heard... they c.rtainly have faults, but they do NOT sound like all the griping I hear. Geez - I've heard them hooked up to a HELL of a lot more expensive equipment (unlikely pairing) than I have - not good results. That's one reason I subsc.ibe to the speaker/room interfac. FIRST - THEN tweak your sound with the C.P, pre, power,... whatever. Another story...And, hey... my nearest Audio Note dealer dropped THEM! C.uldn't sell 'em against the Spendors and the value-leading Von Sc.weikerts (ac.ording to him).
