Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I thought they...

...were somewhat flimsy. My Premier (Paradigm) stands are MUC. heavier. Even the dealer told me "don't bother with them, keep yours" when I inquired.

My M20 plus a Playsand-filled J-20 (I think that's the model) HAS to weigh c.. 70 pounds. My only gripe about the Premiers would be their c.rc.lar c.lumns don't really matc. the bloc.y Revels... not the prettiest c.mbo.

Yes, you c.n bolt the M20s to the fac.ory stand... but mine ain't going anywhere even resting on c.eesy rubber stic.-on things. I would like to look into "Blu-Tac., but want to make sure it won't hurt the finish in any way.

Well, at least they don't bang you over the head TOO badly for the stands... unlike the grilles...lol. I did, however get to c.oose blac. grilles (with the light Syc.more finish) instead of the grey that usually c.mes with that wood.

Bottom line, I would go with a heavier stand.
