Bobby...I am sorry that you found my question and concern offensive since that was by no means my intention...I did not know the industry standards of mark-up in the speaker business and I simply and ignorantly assumed that the Morel drivers costing what they do should somehow correlate with the price of the speaker but I now know from your helpful posts that I was assuming something that was incorrect and based on insufficient data. Thank you for elucidating and clearing this confusing matter for me. For example, just as Dave Ellis makes his 1801 speakers with much more expensive tweeters than the MDT-30 and yet they only sell for $1300 a pair, this is not a fair and reasoanable comparison just as it would be unfair to compare two excellent hand-made musical instruments based on their respective price alone - of course it's ultimately the sound that matters. Once again, I am sorry you took my inquiry personally since it is obvious that you make an excellent product.
