I don't think there is much risk once the metal is processed. Inhalation of fine and ultrafine Be dust can cause a serious lung disorder (Berylliosis) and this is mainly a concern for Be workers. I don't think the Be dome in the Focal tweeter presents any risk, although apparently there are special instructions for handling the Be dome in the event that the tweeter is damaged.
