I Don't Think So!

I bought my 804s about 4 years ago.I had owned B&W603s and a CDM7SE based HT. I began powering them with a Classe' CAP 151 integrated. I next bought a BelCanto EVO 200.2, using the preamp section of the Classe'.I sold the Classe', and bought a Cary SLP2002 pre. I have since bought and tried an EVO 2, A Cary Rocket 88, and my present power, the best, a Cary V12R.Each amp upgrade, wire change and even tube change can be heard through the N804s.
The important quality for me , is their ability to reveal even the slightest change in my system. They also sound glorious as presently powered and sourced.
If you are thinking about the B&W N series, you must think about the size of your room. Please note the size of my room for my registered system.I consider it small. N804s and N805s are made by B&W for small rooms, not N803 or larger.Ask B&W, or read their literature.
