There is a sort of "magical" sound that I love to hear out of a good pair of speakers. It's a phenomenon difficult to describe. It is when the speakers sort of ebb and flow with each other and create a "three dimentional" effect. I notice it newer recordings more than the old stuff.
Is this a product of good mixing and recording? I know that some speakers don't "sing togather so well" and will sound like two completly seperate channels shouting.
I notice this effect alot around the low mid freq.
What do you call this? And what speakers do it best?
Thanks
