Hi Jlee,
It's not exactly "coloured", but it's just not as "true" as other speakers that I have heard. As for soundstage, they are a bit narrow and (not deep).Anyway, I am a big fan of NEAT speakers and I agree that it won't go wrong with Naim gear. I think NEAT speakers are a bit of a cult like Naim or Rega gear. They are not the definitive in sounds, but they are certainly musical equipment!
