Bought one last year a 12". I would reccomend it for movies but not music. It's just a bit sloppy with music( that's what you get with a down firing 12" woof, large rear ported design) It depends on what you want of course, it will put out the sound, it's well built, I had no problems with it. Gave it to my brother and he is using it still.Resently had a sub custom built, front fireing sealed box 10", wood veener, heavy, tight, accurate bass. Didn't cost a fortune and sounds better than any retail sub I have ever heard. Very happy
