It was actually a sort of peace offering and I expected a good-natured chuckle. Don't you do good-natured chuckles? Last night I read my five-year old one of his favorite stories which has come to bore me, so I started inserting little changes for fun. He didn't chuckle either. Actually he got pissed at me. Maybe I'll learn one of these days, but not soon I don't expect.
