Yes, it's possible, I suppose. A particular woofer, a particular electrostat, a particular crossover combination may end up yielding a good marriage. Generally speaking, it is the big difference in radiation properties and the difference in spectrum of the midbass/midrange sound of a woofer vs. an electrostat that makes it so hard to integrate the two. Not because the electrostat is "fast" (not so) and the woofer is "slow" (not so). I agree with Duke that the best woofer+electrostat combo I've ever heard was/is the Quad 63 / Gradient one.Biggleswurth
