I lost track of your original models you listented to. Regarding the center, for the B&W 800 series, both models are ok (HTM1 and HTM2, the latter which is basically a 2-way). The surrounds however are monopole, love it or leave it. On the JMLab, their bigger center (CC901) is ok (not sure about the 900 though). The Electra surrounds on bi/dipole, not switchable. The Cobalt S series are monopole. If I went JMLab I might mix and match, using the Electra for the side surrounds (because I want a more difuse side sound, and those speakers are closer to my ears) and the Cobalt monopoles for rears (those speakers are much further from my ears).
