Got them a few days ago and there is a significant sound difference. While the mids seemed more smoothed out, the inner detail and air got sucked out by these things, resulting in an uninteresting, duller sound. Vocals are a bit more recessed and the lower mids seem to take over. Goes to show that rave reviews don't mean squat. These B&W's will eventually be replaced by a speaker with soft dome tweeters.
