I had pair of 2Cis before the 3As so i have been a Vandi loyalist for about 17 years :^). It has been a comfortable coexistence. The Vandies do not do enything estremely well, but they do nothing wrong. I wanted speakers that sounded like live acoustic instruments and outside the planar speakers i could not afford the Vandies were it. The 3As were just a normal continioum. The B&Ws i heard lately all give me headaches, too tizzi too confused. I just chalked it up to the fact that they were all bookshelf speakers.I tell you if i had the room and the money i would go for a pair of SOundlab U1s :-}~, absent that i would settle for a pair of used Apogee Divas :^).
