Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

RE: Speakers that never bite ? They just ain't right.

Maybe instead of you writing "Real musical instruments (and some human voices) are hurtful to the ears on occasion."

You should have written "Real musical instruments (and some human voices) , as well as, some recordings and mastering" are hurtful to the ears on occasion.

A system (speakers) shouldn't homogenize the sound to be too "bitey" or too dull but play what's recorded. If the recording doesn't have bite, so be it. If it does one should listen if they like the music.
