Bose sells more speakers than the next five speaker companies combined - just because something sells doesn't make it any good (noticing at the kind of music that sells for a start - Britanny Spears. Layman didn't like the CDM series either.
But why so ready to trust what B&W says? Mercedes? Check out the reviews of Mercedes in the most comprehensive review book - the Lemon Aid - might give you a bit of insight on how truyly crappy the build quality is on most Mercedes over the last 20 years. Honda Hatchbackls are vastly superior people movers - and if you want something that goes vroom vroom get a Ferrari.
