RE: Interesting post of John Broskie on flat phase speakers.

I recall the Bowers and Wilkens DM6 speaker of the 1970s that was claimed to be linear phase. The drivers were physically time aligned. And the crossovers were 1st order, sort of. They were 1st order for about an octave and then the became faster, at least 3rd order if I recall correctly. So it brings up a question. Perhaps linear phase is most important in the crossover regions where two(or more) drivers are reproducing the same notes.
