I mean, theoretical models are great for understanding theory and application, and they can get a designer very close to a design concept.But at a certain point you get into an iterative process with measurement, and even by-ear voicing at the end (with the odd "sanity check" measurements done from time to time to ensure you're not getting off track...)
It's also unknown what driver response was used for the model. It appears ideal drivers were used to show crossover transfer functions which is fine in theoretical discussions but for predicting the end-result you need real-world driver performance.
At the end of the day, if your drivers are ideal then you don't need a multi-way system to begin with. :-)
