If you are among the few fortunate people who could ever listen to these legendary speakers you could carry on a simple experiment.
Just connect on and off a 1.5 V battery to one of those and listen.
The group delay between woofer and tweeter can be heard.
It's a fraction of a second but you can still hear it.
For those excellent speakers the necessary step to 'perfection' would be a time delay line in the crossover.
