The author mentions Vandersteen as a brand that always uses first order "phase flat" crossovers in their speakers, a factor that (he says) contributes to their imaging prowess...
I've never heard a Vandersteen speaker before. Do they really sound that much better than other speakers using different types of crossovers ?
