Absolute sound

Ozzie, you couldn't see it but my tongue was firmly pressing my cheek when I wrote "the only absolute sound was".

Actually I disagreed with HP that a home audio system could produce the absolute sound.

Each of us has our own set of experiences but I've simply not heard an audio system that could produce the combination of dynamics, spatiality, and basic sense of presence I've heard in live performances.

But not every live performance has been wonderful either.

For me, I've simply attempted to learn the tonalities of common instruments so I may have a sense of how "real" they sound when judging any system or component.
