How do you measure a speaker cones surface area? If you have a 8" driver and you take the radius 4" times itself then by 3.14 you have the answer right?
4" X 4" x 3.14"= 50.24 is this right or wrong? was just wondering if any forum members know if this is the right way to calculate a speaker cone surface area? I am only asking because I am curious how many design minded people there are in the forum.
