Someone recently gave me a pair of Fried Beta Signature speakers, which they said didn't work for reasons they couldn't understand.
When I removed the grills, I discovered the attached photos...
The only markings I could find on the back of the drivers is a stamped number 175-1004.
From a quick internet search, I found a thread on an audio forum stating that the following midrange/woofers Madisound sells are a perfect drop-in replacement for the ones in the Fried Betas (Silver Flute W17RC38-08 6.5" Woofer Wool Cone).
Does anyone know if this is, indeed, the case, or if not, what driver would be s suitable replacement for the factory driver?
Thank you so much,
Chris
